Maya is from the Olympia area and Graduated from Olympia H.S. in 2020. She continued her undergraduate studies at Eastern Washington University (Go Eagles!) where she recently earned her Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science. Maya has observed in many settings and plans to apply to physical therapy school next year. While working at ProActive, Maya hopes to gain further experience in the outpatient setting in preparation for her future career in physical therapy.

Maya's interest in physical therapy has stemmed from her time as a pre-professional ballet dancer throughout middle and high school, where she experienced physical therapy through a patient's point of view. Learning about how the human body works has really made her eager to learn.

During her free time, Maya enjoys dancing, hiking, spending time with friends and family and enjoying all things Washington has to offer.
