My name is Alec Kirk and I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) that works at ProActive Sportsmed on the westside of Olympia. I was born in Ogden Utah, but largely grew up here in Olympia, Washington.

 

I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Western Washington University in 2009, and I went on to get my DPT from the University of Washington in 2019. Since that time I worked for a short time at St Joseph’s Hospital in Eureka California in both acute care and outpatient settings. Then in 2020, I moved back to Olympia and worked at a number of private practice clinics in the Olympia and Lacey areas.

 

I enjoy working with patients of all backgrounds and employ a combination of manual therapy, cupping, scraping, and flossing techniques combined with my extensive experience in a variety of athletic pursuits to help patients recover from injury and attain higher levels of fitness.

 

When I am not working I enjoy Girevoy sport, mixed martial arts, horror movies, tabletop and computer gaming, as well as hiking and climbing in the great outdoors.
