Mieka is an Olympia native. She attended St. Martin's College where she was a member of the volleyball team. Mieka is active in her community coaching volleyball and volunteering at various community events. She worked in the retail world for the past 13 years before joining the ProActive team.

Mieka is a mom of two girls and a boy and enjoys spending time with her family. Her family enjoys spending their free time in the great outdoors, hiking, water skiing, boating, and camping. It is fun to find great camping spots and swimming holes!
