Jayme Bruett, DPT, FAFS, CSCS
Physical Therapist
Owner/Clinic Director - Bellevue
ProActive Since 2007
Jayme Bruett began her journey towards physical therapy when suffering her own injuries as a professionally trained ballet dancer during her youth. She graduated from Columbia University with her Doctorate in physical therapy in 2007, where she received an award in Clinical Excellence.
Jayme began her physical therapy career with the ProActive Physical Therapy family upon graduation in 2007. She went on to achieve her credentialing as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) in 2008. Jayme advanced her career by becoming a clinic director at ProActive and later Director of Operations. During her time with ProActive she was instrumental in developing an ACL Risk Reduction program, gait analysis, and volunteered in several outreach programs.
Jayme, unfortunately, had to leave the ProActive family when she and her family moved back east. During that time she further developed her skill combining functionally based therapeutic exercise with manual therapy skills by completing a fellowship in Applied Functional Sciences (FAFS) and Functional Manual Reaction through the Gray Institute.
Jayme is a Seattle native and happy to be living within 10 miles of her extended family. She is married and is the proud mom of four children; Taylor, Jayden, Rhyker and Sawyer. In free time she loves to be with her family and play outdoors. Jayme considers herself extremely fortunate that she gets to live, work and play in the Bridle Trails / Bellevue community. She is happy to have returned to the ProActive family with a new clinic of her own.
