Hunter's skiing background entails racing and freestyle skiing, where he had the fortune of exploring numerous mountains, his all time favorite being “Big Mountain” back home. Hunter enjoys the challenge of analyzing different altitudes, slopes and types of snow to figure out the safest route.  He now enjoys back-country skiing and teaching others how to be successful and safe on the mountain.  He relocated to the greater Seattle area in 2011, and resides in Bellevue with his wife, Miranda. Together they enjoy exploring the outdoors, hanging out with friends, and traveling around the world.
