Hunter joined the ProActive family in 2021 after completing his final clinical rotation with the team, prior to graduating from A.T. Still University with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Hunter graduated with awards in clinical excellence, professionalism, and the 2020 geriatric student of the year. During his time at A.T. Still, Hunter assisted with the creation and operation of a Pro Bono clinic, enjoyed elective courses of gait and running analysis, and blood flow restriction to assist with furthering his education. Hunter has a passion for assisting others in finding ways to improve their abilities in competitive and recreational sports, helping patients move better, and helping others return or participate in activities they love. Hunter believes in a mind, body, spirit approach to make sure he can assist others in a comprehensive manner.
Hunter completed his undergraduate degree at Northwest University in 2015, with a bachelors in biology. Hunter played soccer for the Eagles and learned his love for physical therapy during his time recovering from numerous injuries. He maintains his love for the game coaching soccer for Overlake high school, Northwest University, and for Seattle United Soccer club.
Hunter was born and raised in Kalispell Montana, where he learned his love for the outdoors, especially skiing and golf. Hunter's skiing background entails racing and freestyle skiing, where he had the fortune of exploring numerous mountains, his all time favorite being “Big Mountain” back home. Hunter enjoys the challenge of analyzing different altitudes, slopes and types of snow to figure out the safest route. He now enjoys back-country skiing and teaching others how to be successful and safe on the mountain. He relocated to the greater Seattle area in 2011, and resides in Ballard with his Fiancee, Miranda. Together they enjoy exploring the outdoors, hanging out with friends, and traveling around the world.
