Carolyn Fowler, DPT
Carolyn received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Clinical Exercise Physiology from Mississippi State University in 2013. Following the completion of her undergraduate studies, Carolyn pursued her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Mississippi Medical Center and graduated in 2017. During her doctorate education she participated in elective courses to further her clinical education in gait analysis and manual therapy techniques.
Carolyn’s career started in New Orleans, LA in inpatient neurological rehab where she began treating patients of all ages affected by traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and CVA. She transitioned into outpatient orthopedics and while she enjoys treating a broad range of orthopedic diagnosis including post-operative, geriatrics and balance disorders her special interests include working with recreational and trained athletes as well as individuals suffering from myofascial dysfunction. She has had additional training in Myofascial Decompression, Orthopedic Manual Therapy and Postural Restoration. Carolyn achieved her Dry Needling certification in 2018 from American Academy of Manipulative Therapy. Carolyn has a strong passion for providing quality, hands on care to her patients with a strong emphasis on functional therapeutic intervention while empowering her patients throughout the recovery process.
Since moving to the PNW in 2019, Carolyn and her husband enjoy exploring the great outdoors of Washington and spend their free time hiking and camping. Carolyn enjoys outdoor music festivals, live concerts and cheering on her New Orleans Saints.
