Athletic Trainer/Physical Therapy Aide

Kailynn serves as the athletic trainer for Black Hills High School, lending her education and expertise to the student-athletes when they are injured in sport. Along with her time spent at the high school, Kailynn also serves as a physical therapy aide in our Tumwater clinic.

Born and raised in the Tacoma area, Kailynn graduated from Eastern Washington University with her Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training; furthering her education, she completed her graduate work and received her Master's degree in Sport & Exercise Science from West Texas A&M University in Texas. Kailynn first became interested in becoming a Certified Athletic Trainer while in high school during her time spent in her Sports Medicine classes and while she was a student athletic trainer, along with being an avid athlete herself. 

Outside of work, Kailynn loves spending time with her chocolate labrador and husband Erek, she is a huge movie fan, and continues to play adult co-ed soccer on the weekends.
