Robert Schmidt, DPT, Doctor of Physical Therapy, joins ProActive SportsMed and brings experience in orthopaedics and advanced spine treatment. Robert shows his involvement with communities and citizens by participating in health fairs, emphasizing the importance of ergonomics as well as overall fitness. His continuing education includes certifications in Ergoscience Functional Capacity Examination (specialized workplace ergonomic training) as well as Manual Therapy Certification (MTC). His experience in basketball, volleyball, and running brings understanding of sports related injuries and conditioning to ProActive SportsMed. “I enjoy working with all types of patients, from chronic pain to sports injuries, from work related injuries to motor vehicle accidents. I want to help people get back to their lives prior to their injury and teach them how to prevent injury in the future.”

Cindy Koston, PTA, graduated in 1999 from the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Green River Community College. She has worked in the out-patient orthopaedic and sports rehabilitation setting for eight years. Cindy enjoys working with a variety of patients with differing diagnoses and ages. Cindy also enjoys spending time with each patient and believes education is the key to a successful rehabilitation. In her free time Cindy likes to take vacations to warm destinations and spend time with her family, friends and pets.
