Linear/Lateral Speed, Agility, 1st Step Quickness, Core Strength, Explosive Power, Balance, Conditioning, Static/Dynamic Flexiblity, Reaction Time...

These are just some of the common buzzwords that you hear in today's athletic performance enhancement arena.  At ProActive our goal is to help athlete's achieve their goals by giving them the tools to play their sport(s) better.  How do we do this? We initially assess the athlete by doing an evaluation/screening finding their strengths and weaknesses.  They may have issues regarding joint mobility, muscle flexibilty, or overall body asymmetries and instabilities.  These issues, in turn, inhibit their ability to move properly... after all sport and athletics is all about efficent and effective movement.  It's good to be big and strong but if you can't move what's the point!
